Whether we’re thinking about something in our imagination or seeing it in our reality, the feelings it evokes in us is the same. The body does not distinguish between imagination & reality.
Every time I’ve ever been anxious, my heart rate has gone up, and negative things have started happening in my physical body, which had my anxiety been sustained would have had dire and real life-threatening consequences over time. Meanwhile, these events being played out in my mind HAVE NOT YET HAPPENED.
And I’m not unique. If you’re overly worrying and stressing over a period of time, be sure that you’re doing your body a great disservice from a health perspective. Your fear, stress levels, and BP go up in real life. Sustained over time, this can lead to heart disease and other unwanted conditions. This is medically proven. And has been spiritually revealed.
