My soul is troubled. My heart races.
I feel like giving up, lying down and not doing anything anymore.
Like just giving in to giving up.
Then I remember I have a reason to fight
A reason to stay calm, be still
to stand in faith and knowledge.
For I have the man of war standing with me, (Exodus 15:3, 6; Isaiah 42: 13)
Going before me as a consuming fire to fight my battles. (Deuteronomy 9:3)
Making my crooked paths straight, upholding me with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 45:2; Isaiah 41:10)
Contending with him who contends with me. (Isaiah 49:25)
I am strong, courageous, I hold my peace, not dismayed. (2 Chronicles 32:7)
I am not afraid of their faces, for You are with me to deliver me. (Jeremiah 1:8)
I have let go, and let God.
For by strength, I cannot prevail. (1 Samuel 2:9)
The battle is not mine, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20: 12-17)
I will stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. (2 Chronicles 20: 12-17)
“Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shall not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Isaiah 41: 11-13
“Behold they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.” Isaiah 54: 15
